At approximately 5.00 pm yesterday a 37-year-old man was apprehended travelling from Darwin to Jabiru on the Arnhem Highway.

A search of the man's vehicle a silver Holden Commodore, located 83 grams of cannabis, two pipes and a small tin containing a further three grams of cannabis. A total of 87 grams was confiscated.

The male was bailed to appear in Darwin Magistrates Court on 19 March to face possess trafficable amount of drug, possess cannabis in a public place and drive a motor vehicle unlicensed.
