Members of the Drug Enforcement Section arrested a 48-year-old man at a Darwin River residence yesterday.

Police executed a search warrant at the house at about 11:20 am yesterday where the following items was located and seized:

147 cannabis seedlings
1.216 kilograms of cannabis material
2 unregistered shot guns
1 unregistered pistol

The man was arrested and charged with the following offences:

Cultivate prohibited plant - commercial quantity
Possess cannabis plant material - commercial quantity
(x3) Possess unregistered firearms
Unlicensed shooter

He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear in Darwin Magistrate's Court this morning.
