Four men have been arrested following a drug bust in Alice Springs on Friday night.
Just after 8pm a Holden Commodore was pulled over on the South Stuart Highway and searched after a police drug dog reacted positively to the vehicle.
Police located 857.9 grams of cannabis and 1667 Ecstasy tablets hidden in the vehicle.
Four men were subsequently arrested and charged with possessing and supplying a commercial quantity of cannabis and possessing and supplying a commercial quantity of a Schedule 2 substance. Three of the men aged 20, 20 and 21, have been remanded in custody to appear in the Alice Springs Magistrates Court today while one 20-year-old man has been bailed to appear in the Alice Springs Magistrates Court on April 14.
Police said the estimated street value of the drugs was around $130,000.
It is believed the drugs were being transported from Adelaide to Alice Springs.
