A 29-year-old man has been arrested following a drug bust in Alice Springs overnight.

Just after 10pm yesterday members of the Drug Intelligence Unit, the Dog Operations Unit and Substance Abuse Intelligent Desk searched the man's residential address and found three separate packages containing cannabis.

The combined weight of the packages was1.3kilos and had a potential street value of $32,500.00

The man has been charged with possessing cannabis in commercial quantity and will appear in the Alice Springs Magistrates Court today.
