At approximately 7.30 pm police intercepted a 36-year-old female driving a silver Mitsubishi Magna on Trower Road, Jingili. The woman returned a high range blood alcohol content reading of 0.168 percent. She has since been charged and due to appear in the Darwin Magistrate's Court on 19 March.

A 24-year-old male was apprehended at a RBT station on Tiger Brennan Drive at approximately 10.00 pm. He was arrested after returning a high blood alcohol reading content of 0.187 percent and was further charged with failing to obey the direction of a police officer and exceed speed limit by 16-30 kilometres per hour. The man was bailed and due appear in the Darwin Magistrate's Court on 19 March.

At another RBT station on the Stuart Highway in Stuart Park, the driver of a Nissan Navara returned a high blood alcohol reading of 0.165 percent. The 55-year-old male was bailed and is due to appear in the Darwin Magistrate's Court on 19 March.

Members also apprehended a 27-year-old male driving a white Holden utility near the East Point Reserve at about 11.00 pm last night. The man returned a medium range blood alcohol reading of 0.147 percent. He was later charged with driving with a mid range blood alcohol content and driving unlicensed. He was bailed and is due to appear in the Darwin Magistrate's Court on 19 March.

The driver of a Mitsubishi van was apprehended on Mitchell Street at approximately 1.51 am this morning. The 20-year-old female returned a positive blood alcohol reading of 0.123 percent and will be summonsed for driving with a mid range blood alcohol content and driving unlicensed.
