NT Police apprehended four drink drivers between 5.30 pm last night and 2.00 am this morning.

At approximately 5.30 pm a 46-year-old male was arrested after he allegedly mounted his Mitsubishi Magna on a traffic island on Parap Road. The man returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.291 percent.

A 32-year-old male was apprehended riding a motor scooter on Salonika Street in The Gardens at 3.10 am this morning. The driver returned a high blood alcohol concentration reading of 0.208 percent.

The driver of a Subaru hatch back was apprehended on Casuarina Drive in Nightcliff at 12.45 am this morning. The 35-year-old male returned a high range blood alcohol reading of 0.190 percent.

Members also apprehended a 26-year-old male at about 2.00 am driving a Mitsubishi Magna on Limen Street in Wagaman. The driver returned a positive blood alcohol reading of 0.202 percent.

All four drivers are to appear in Darwin Magistrate's Court a later date to face drink driving and other traffic related offences.
