A 27-year-old man has been charged with driving without due care after the car he was driving crashed into a tree in Alice Springs.
Police received a report just before 1am on Saturday that the driver of a Ford Falcon had lost control of his vehicle on the corner of Brown and Priest Streets and crashed into a tree.
Fire crews were forced to cut one of the three male occupants from the car and all three were taken to Alice Springs Hospital with minor injuries.
The 37-year-old driver of the vehicle has been charged with driving without due care.
Meanwhile just after 11pm on Friday night a police vehicle was damaged when it collided with a horse near Hermannsburg.
The Toyota Hilux 4WD was travelling west on Larapinta Drive towards Hermannsburg when it came over a rise and collided with a horse which was in the middle of the road.
The two police officers in the vehicle were uninjured but the vehicle sustained extensive damage.
