Comfits for robbery suspects - Alice Springs

Police have released the comfits of two men in relation to the robbery of a 22-year-old pregnant woman on Monday night.

At approximately 7pm on Monday night the woman was walking from Tunks Drive to the Alice Springs Hospital when two men approached the woman from behind and asked her if she had any money.

The woman ignored the men and continued walking when they again demanded money and threatened her.

Feeling scared she handed them money and continued walking towards Gap Road where she was then picked up by St Johns Ambulance and taken to hospital.

The men are described as Aboriginal both wearing dark clothing and dark coloured caps.

One of the men is described as tall with a solid build and a scruffy beard in his mid-30s and the other is described as short with a solid build in his early 20s.


Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or know any further information to contact Police on 131 444 or Crime stoppers on 1800 333 000.
