Police are investigating a caravan fire that occurred in Humpty Doo yesterday.

It is alleged that the owners of the van had been away and upon their returned to their Beard Road residence, found the structure completely destroyed by fire.

At this stage, investigations have revealed the circumstances surrounding the fire to be suspicious.

A crime scene has been established and the matter is being investigated by Fire Investigators and Detectives.

Police urge anyone that may have information in relation to the incident, or who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area, to contact them on 131 444.
