Police have charged a 47-year-old male driver in relation to the crash at Royal Darwin Hospital on Saturday.
It is alleged that the male drove his vehicle, a Toyota Camry, into the front doors of the Hospital at approximately 4:30 pm.
He was apprehended at the scene and later charged with:
Recklessly endanger life
Unlawfully damage property
Unlicensed driver with alcohol in blood
Drive unregistered/uninsured motor vehicle
Recklessly endangering life - cause serious harm.
He was remanded in custody to appear in the Darwin Magistrate's Court today.
