It is alleged that at approximately 9:30 pm the male stabbed the 63-year-old male taxi driver shortly after entering the vehicle on Daniels Street.

The offender fled the scene at the time and was today located and arrested.

He has been charged with:

Unlawfully cause serious harm
Aggravated assault
Use controlled weapon
Breach restraining order

He was remanded in custody to appear in the Darwin Magistrate's Court on Monday 02 November.
