Police are continuing to call for public assistance in relation to an assault that occurred in Stuart Park on Thursday 20 August.

It is alleged that a 27-year-old female was walking along Westralia Street towards the shopping complex at around 6:45 pm when she was approached by a male and assaulted.

He fled the scene however was described to be of aboriginal appearance, approximately 20 - 30 years of age, 184 cm's tall, medium build, bald shaved head and at the time of the incident, was wearing light blue torn jeans and a faded black shirt.

Anyone that may have witnessed the event, or who may recognise this man, is urged to contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
