Assault – Stealing – Darwin City

Police are investigating an assault and stealing incident that occurred in Darwin city last night.

It is alleged that at about 7:45 pm a male youth, approximately 16-years-of-age entered the ITS Australian Souvenir Shop on Knuckey Street and was witnessed, by the manager, acting suspiciously.

A short time later the manager was outside the store when he was approached by the youth and allegedly punched to the face the youth then left the area.

It has been established that $100 worth of items had been stolen from the store.

The youth is described as being approximately 16-years-old, of Caucasian appearance, 150cms tall, fair to olive complexion, with curly brown hair and a round face.

At the time of the incident he was wearing a black t-shirt with a dark jumper over his shoulders.
