Assault and Stealing Parap

Police are investigating the assault of three males visiting Australia in Parap over night.

At about 8:35 pm it is alleged three males aged 23, 23 and 26-years old were assaulted at a bus stop on the Stuart Highway in Parap.

The victims were sitting at the bus stop when approached by four youths on bicycles who asked them for cigarettes. It is alleged after being provided with cigarettes one of the youths then assaulted the men, by striking one with an empty bottle and punching and kicking the others.

A mobile phone and a set of sun glasses were stolen during the incident.

The youths then fled the scene on their bicycles along Ross Smith Avenue.

The offenders are described as:

Wearing a white T-shirt and light coloured jeans

Police urge anyone who witnessed the assault or may have further information to contact them on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
