Police have arrested five offenders in relation to an unlawful entry at an Alice Springs radio station last weekend.

Five juveniles from 11 to 13 years-of-age are alleged to have broken into the SUN FM radio station on Saturday April 20 just before midnight.

The offenders broke a window to gain entry into the premises and stole food and drinks and a laptop valued at $1600.

Members of the Property Crime Reduction Unit were able to identify the offenders from video surveillance footage and apprehended them yesterday.

All will be charged with one count each of unlawful entry, criminal damage and stealing and will be referred to the Youth Diversion Program.

The laptop was recovered but significantly damaged.
