Three men will face court following a break-in at an Alice Springs hotel at the weekend.
Police received a report just before 11.30pm on Saturday that the front door of the bar at the Todd Tavern had been smashed. Thieves unlawfully entered the premises and made off with eight bottles of spirits.
Police viewed the CCTV footage of the incident and three men were arrested a short time later.
Police allege a 21-year-old and a 24-year-old entered the bar and stole the liquor after the glass doors were smashed, while the third man, an 18-year-old helped smash the doors but then left before the theft.
All three have been charged with unlawfully entering a building at night with intent to commit a crime, and criminal damage. The 21-year-old and 24-year-old have also been charged with stealing. They will appear in court today while the 18-year-old has been bailed to appear on February 10.
