Members from the Commander's Tactical Team have arrested and charged a 20-year-old male in relation to several unlawful entries that occurred in the Darwin area over the past three weeks.

It is alleged that the male is responsible for seven unlawful entries that occurred between Sunday 28 June and Saturday 18 July.

Effected properties included Manoli's Greek Taverna, Crystal Wave Swimwear, The Magic Wok and Pack and Send Stationary Supplies.

In total he caused thousands of dollars worth of damage, stole approximately $2 200 worth of cash and numerous other items, including lap top computers.

On Saturday 18 July members attended a residence in Stuart Park and located and arrested the 20-year-old offender.

He has since been charged with:

Aggravated enter a building at night with intent (x7)
Damage property preparing to commit a crime (x5)
Stealing (x6)

He was remanded in custody to appear in the Darwin Magistrate's Court today.
