Alice Springs Police Property Crime Reduction Unit members have arrested a youth in relation to a number of unlawful entries on the weekend.
Members identified the 13-year-old boy from CCTV footage in the Todd Mall.
During investigations the boy admitted to unlawfully entering nine businesses in the Todd Mall on the weekend.
Further investigations found the boy responsible for a series of other unlawful entries on the same businesses earlier this year.
The boy has been arrested and charged on 16 counts of unlawful entry.
He has been bailed to reside at the Yuendumu Community as part of his bail condition.
He will appear in the Alice Springs Youth Justice Court on October 15.
