It is alleged that the offender gained entry to the building by throwing a rock through the window.

The man was arrested that same day at his Nhulunbuy address and he has been charged with the following offences:

Arson - building
Unlawful entry of a building
Criminal damage
Breach of suspended sentence

He has been remanded custody and flown to Darwin to appear in Darwin magistrate's court today.
