Armed robberies – Stuart Park and Karama – Update

Police

Casuarina Detectives are travelling to Cairns tomorrow to apply for the extradition of a 37-year-old male who is believed to have been involved in two armed robberies in Darwin last week.

Police allege the man was involved in the armed robberies at the Westralia Street Foodland Store in Stuart Park early Sunday morning (05 July) and the Caltex Service Station in Karama on Monday morning (06 July).

It is alleged that the male entered both stores, produced a knife and demanded money from the attendant.

Further information will be provided as it comes to hand.
