Armed robberies – Stuart Park and Karama – 4329113 - 4329345

It is alleged that at approximately 1:10 pm yesterday, a male entered the Westralia Street Foodland Store in Stuart Park and threatened the female staff member with a knife.

He obtained a sum of money before he ran through the car wash area and out towards the highway.

Members received another report of a robbery at the Caltex Service Station in Karama at approximately 2:10 am this morning.

It is alleged that a male threatened the female staff member with the knife, obtained a quantity of cash and fled the area on foot in the direction of the Karama Shopping Centre.

It is believed that the same male is responsible for both offences and he is described to be of Caucasian appearance with a dark complexion, aged between 25-30 years, approximately 180cms tall, solid build and has short dark hair.

During the Stuart Park incident he was wearing a grey t-shirt and black pants.

He was wearing a tight fitting brown coloured t-shirt blue jeans when he entered the Caltex Service Station in Karama and was carrying a black back pack and wearing light coloured sneakers during both incidents.
