Members arrested and charged a 43-year-old male in relation to alcohol located in Nguiu yesterday.

It is alleged that the male was transporting a quantity of beer to Nguiu in 20 litre paint tins via the Tiwi Barge.

Members searched the pallet at approximately 8:00 am yesterday morning, locating 102 cans and have subsequently charged a 43-year-old male with possess liquor in a prescribed area.

He was bailed to appear in court at a later date.
