The 5.7 metre boat is light blue in colour with the words "Arafura Marine" on the side and was fully equipped with GPS, Sounder and Hi-fi system, fishing gear and a 135 hp Honda four stroke outboard motor with a total value of approximately $75 000.

Entry was gained to the premises by cutting the chain on the front gates and the boat was not visible from the road but stored behind the workshop.

A new charcoal coloured 15 hp Yamaha two stroke outboard motor and two Sounders were also taken from other boats in the yard.

Anyone who may have seen this boat being towed, or has information relating to the theft of it, is urged to call police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
