Strike Force Trident have arrested 3 youths after an incident involving a stolen motor vehicle this morning.  

Just after 2:00am, police received a report that passengers of a taxi travelling to Dripstone had stolen the vehicle. 

Police tracked the stolen motor vehicle travelling through Nightcliff, before engaging in a pursuit but terminated shortly after due to the dangerous manner of driving. 

The vehicle was located abandoned a short time later in Millner.  

Detectives from Strike Force Trident were able to locate the 13-year-old female, a 14-year-old female and 13-year-old male offenders and they were arrested without incident.  

All offenders remain in custody and are expected to be charged later today.
