NT Police Officer Dismissed

The Northern Territory Police Force has terminated the employment of a 31-year-old Police Officer following an internal investigation by the Southern Investigations Division that was overseen by the Professional Standards Command.

The investigation commenced following allegations of stealing for which the officer is still presently before the court.

“The officer was directed to take leave pending the outcome of the internal investigation, and was today dismissed effective immediately from the Northern Territory Police Force,” said Acting Commander Lance Godwin.
