Police hold concerns for the welfare of 14-year-old missing girl Mariah Angus who was last seen yesterday in South Australia.

Sergeant Ian Kennon from Katherine Police Station said Mariah was last seen at a truck stop in Two Wells (approximately 40km north of Adelaide) at around 6:00pm Wednesday 9 January.

“We believe Mariah was hitchhiking back to Katherine in the Northern Territory,” Sergeant Kennon said.

“She is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, thin build, approximately 160cm tall with long dark hair.

“Anyone who may have seen her, or who may know of her whereabouts, is urged to contact Police on 131 444.”
