A 27-year-old man will appear in Alice Springs Magistrates Court for the alleged gross indecent assault of two children on December 12.

Detective Sergeant Carmen Butcher said the man has been charged with entering an occupied dwelling at night with intent, committing an act of gross indecency, attempted sexual intercourse without consent and aggravated assault.

He has been remanded in custody and will appear in court on February 21.
