Alice Springs Police are investigating the glassing assault of a 22-year-old man in the early hours of Sunday morning at Lasseter’s Casino.

Detective Sergeant Jon Beer said, that at around 3:45am the man became involved in a minor altercation involving a number of patrons within the bar area.

“It’s alleged that during the altercation a woman has struck the victim to the left ear and temple region with a glass. The offender was last seen exiting the Casino via the front doors with a laceration to her right hand.

“The 22-year-old man was taken to Alice Springs Hospital after sustaining facial injuries and has since been released.”
