Detectives from the Child Abuse Taskforce have charged a 30-year-old woman with endangering the life of a seven-month-old child by exposure.

Detective Sergeant Carmen Butcher said the alleged incident occurred at around 1:30 am 31 January.

“The woman was arrested and charged with endangering the life of a child by exposure and failing to provide the necessaries of life.”

She has been remanded in custody to appear in the Alice Springs Magistrates Court 7 February.
