Police are investigating the death of a 46-year-old woman whose body was found in the Todd River this morning.

A member of the public located the woman’s body near the Stott Terrace Bridge in parkland near the Todd River, at approximately 7:40 am and notified Police.  

A crime scene was established and processed however Detectives have not found any evidence to indicate that the death is suspicious.

An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death and a file will be prepared for the Coroner.
