Assault and Stealing - Coolalinga - Update

Detectives from the Serious Crime Squad are continuing to investigate the alleged assault of the 25-year-old night manager, and stealing from the United Petrol Station at Coolalinga on Monday night 28 January 2013.

Detective Senior Sergeant Peter Kennon said Police are searching for two vehicles of interest and are seeking public assistance in locating them.

“The first vehicle is a Landcruiser allegedly stolen from an address in Humpty Doo early Sunday morning 27 January 2013.

“Police allege the vehicle and the offender have been involved in a number of thefts of fuel from service stations in the Palmerston and rural area during January.

“The second vehicle is a two tone Nissan Patrol also allegedly linked to the offences on Monday and has allegedly been involved in the theft of fuel from services stations at Palmerston and Humpty Doo.

Police urge anyone who may recognise this man, the vehicles, or who may have any information relating to the incident, to contact them on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
