Alice Springs Police are calling for witnesses in relation to a series of assaults.

Detective Sergeant Leith Phillips said that around 1:00am two men aged 25 and 40 exited Club Eastside when they were approached by a group of four to five men of aboriginal descent.

“The group has assault the two men and stole their wallets and mobile phones. One of the men received a broken jaw as a result of the assault on 24 November.

“Police are urging anyone with information or who may have witnessed these incidents to come forward.

“Police are particularly interested in speaking to two women who left Club Eastside at around the same time as the two men and urge them to come forward and contact Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
