Detectives execute Search Warrant, finding cannabis grow room in a residential unit.

On the afternoon of Tuesday, 3 September 2019, Detectives from the Drug and Organised Crime Division executed a drug search warrant on a unit in Stuart Park.  Located in the second bedroom of this unit was a hydroponic system supporting six cannabis plants.  Also located during the search was 235grams of cannabis.

A 29-year-old Stuart Park man will appear at the Darwin Local Court after being issued a Notice to Appear to answer the charges of, possessing a trafficable quantity of cannabis and cultivating cannabis.

Drug and Organised Crime Acting Superintendent Mark Malogorski said, “Any information regarding the supply of dangerous drugs plays an active part in NT Police disrupting the Territory’s illegal drug market.  Anyone with information regarding ‘Dob in a Dealer’ please call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.  Public information does stop drug crime.”
