Northern Investigation Section Detectives continue to investigate an unlawful entry at the Westpac Bank in Katherine.

At approximately 3:40am on Thursday 29 August 2019, a male unlawfully entered the bank by smashing the front glass door with a metal tool. The offender was unsuccessful in accessing the ATM and fled the premises on foot. He was last seen running towards Railway Terrace.

The offender is described as dark-skinned, approximately 175 centimetres tall and of slim build.  He was wearing a dark hoodie with white drawstrings, light-coloured pants, black shoes and a pair of white gloves.
