Strike Force Trident have arrested two males, aged 14 and 18, in relation to a stealing incident at Casuarina Square around 11:40am on 26 August 2019.

The two males allegedly stole a handbag containing $900 in mixed currency from a business at the location. Both were identified via CCTV vision.

The 18-year-old male was located at an address in Alawa yesterday and was charged with one count of stealing. The 14-year-old male was located at Casuarina Bus Interchange. As he was being arrested, he allegedly produced a 20-centimetre steak knife from the waistband of his pants which he dropped to the ground. He was charged with stealing and possess carry use controlled weapon.

The 18-year-old male was remanded in custody to appear in Darwin Local Court today. The 14-year-old was remanded in custody today.
