Strike Force Trident have arrested a 17-year-old male in relation to an alleged aggravated robbery at a Karama business.

The youth attended the location armed with a shovel and threatened staff around 8:40pm on Tuesday 3 September. He stole two stubbies of beer before running from the location. A female staff member pursued the youth and narrowly avoided being hit by the shovel when it was thrown at her.

Police conducted a search warrant at a Karama residence and arrested the youth this morning. He is expected to be charged with aggravated robbery later today.
