Members of the Drug Enforcement Section have apprehended four people in two separate drug busts that occurred in Darwin and Fannie Bay yesterday.

At approximately 11:00 am members executed a search warrant on a residence in Fannie Bay, locating 23 grams of cannabis, one Ecstasy tablet, 0.17 grams of Methamphetamine and $10 000 worth of cash.

A 53-year-old male and a 34-year-old female are to be summonsed to appear in court in relation to drug offences.

In an unrelated incident Drug Enforcement Section members attended a Darwin Hotel and conducted a room search, locating 192 Ecstasy tablets, 23 clip seal bags of methylamphetamine, two morphine tablets and approximately $2 700 worth of cash.

A 38-year-old male and a 37-year-old female were conveyed to the Darwin Watch House and later charged with possess and supply commercial quantities of MDMA, trafficable quantities of methamphetamine, possess dangerous drugs and administer drugs to self.

Both were remanded in custody and are to appear in the Darwin Magistrate's Court today.
