Coffee with a Cop

HAVE you ever wanted to have a cup of coffee with your local police officer?

On Friday, 21 April you’ll get the chance.

Coffee with a Cop is a nationwide initiative, designed to see police and community members come together to discuss community issues and build relationships, as the name suggests, over a cup of coffee.

The Northern Territory Police Force have organised four Coffee with a Cop events to be held in Darwin this Friday, from 9.00am to 11.00am.

The Coffee with a Cop events will be held at Café Twenty One in the Smith Street Mall, Groove Café in the Nightcliff Village, Jamaica Blue Café in Casuarina Square and Gloria Jeans Coffee in the Palmerston Shopping Centre.

There is no agenda and no set conversations to be had. Northern Territory Police Force just want people to know we are part of the community and we are here to support and serve your needs.

We hope that community members will feel comfortable to ask questions, raise their concerns, or simply get to know our officers.
