Congratulations to Alice Springs Sergeant Conan Robertson who was awarded the Best individual in Public Sector at the Fourth Chamber of Commerce Northern Territory, Customer Service Awards.
The prestigious award night, hosted at the Alice Springs Convention Centre on the 14th of July, recognizes the positive, hardworking individuals and businesses in the community.
A humble Conan Robertson said it is a wonderful feeling that a member of the public saw him worthy of a nomination.
“I believe that everyone in the NTPS comes to work and does their best to keep people safe and improve our community. It is rare that a member of the public has gone to such trouble to acknowledge our efforts and give us recognition for the work we do.
“I am very proud to receive this award.”
Conan joined the Northern Territory Police Force in 1999, and has had many career highlights, from recruitment to promotion of Sergeant of Southern Traffic Operations. He has been actively involved in the traffic management of numerous events including; The Masters Games, Alice Springs Show, Black Dog Rides and Finke Desert Race.
In his down time, Conan also coaches local under 8 & under 10 soccer, a sport that his close to his heart.
“I grew up playing soccer, and now I have the opportunity to share it with my kids.”
