Today, the CDU Vice-Chancellor Professor Barney Glover and NT Police Commissioner and CEO of Fire and Emergency Services signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to establish collaborative initiatives in areas of education and training.

This agreement to collaborate on the provision of training for NTPFES members is an exciting opportunity for both agencies.

A range of new programs will be developed and offered in partnership with the CDU that will give NTPFES staff access to higher education professional development pathways while also recognising the quality training and experience that NTPFES already has.

Along with development of current Vocational Education and Training courses on offer to NTPFES staff, these educational opportunities will expand to include accredited and internationally recognised Associate Degree, Bachelor Degree and Postgraduate courses.
