Northern Territory Police have arrested five people in relation to a series of incidents including the robbery of a 55-year-old man in Alice Springs this morning.

Police investigations into this series of offences culminated into the coordinated arrest of five youth as a result of locating the stolen motor vehicle north of Alice Springs.

The vehicle was successfully stopped after the deployment of a Tyre Deflation Device near the Geoff Moss Bridge this afternoon.

It will be alleged the five are linked with a number of offences that occurred overnight in Alice Springs.

The five youth, aged from 11 to 16-years-old have been taken into Police custody to assist with further enquiries.
