Northern Territory Police are extraditing a 44-year-old man from Ipswich, Queensland tomorrow for failing to comply with his parole conditions.

He has been arrested as part of the Crime Stoppers Operation Roam project targeting Australia’s most wanted criminals.

Detective Sergeant Leith Phillips from the Southern Investigations Drug Intelligence Unit said that two detectives are on their way to bring the man back to the Northern Territory on an arrest warrant issued by the Northern Territory Supreme Court.

“The man was convicted and sentenced on 15 February 2017 in relation to the possession of a commercial quantity of methamphetamine in Alice Springs, but failed to comply with his parole conditions,” he said.

An application to extradite the man will be made in Queensland to return him to the Northern Territory to appear in the Supreme Court in Alice Springs next week.
