Northern Territory Risk Priority Project Fund (TRPPF)

The Northern Territory Government in partnership with the Commonwealth Government under the Natural Disaster Resilience Program has established the Northern Territory Risk Priority Project Fund (TRPPF).

The TRPPF will assist Northern Territory Government agencies and other emergency management organisations to deliver projects that address key natural disaster risk knowledge gaps, develop or enhance programs delivering natural disaster resilience, or enhance emergency management capability on a Territory-wide basis.

The TRPPF will provide approved projects with funding up to the value of $250,000 GST exclusive. Projects of higher value will be considered although agencies are encouraged to leverage from further co-contributors to projects.

Organisations eligible for funding under the DRF are: • Local Authorities responsible for disaster management and disaster mitigation works (eg. Local government councils, regional councils and registered remote community boards)
• Territory Government Agencies, where that agency is the relevant responsible agency (eg. Fire and Service, Bushfires NT, etc); and
• Non-Government Organisations where that organisation has a recognised disaster/emergency management role in the Northern Territory.
