WHY BE A NTPFES CADET?

The NT Police, Fire and Emergency Services (NTPFES) cadets program is a two year program for school students commencing year 11.

The 2018 program closes 27 October for Alice Springs. The 2018 Darwin program is now closed for applications.

As a NTPFES Cadet, you will participate in fun and educational activities such as:

DARWIN

ALICE SPRINGS

one day a week at the NTPFES College (RTO No. 0384), each school term

 A visit to an Indigenous community to learn about cultural and community engagement

 Volunteering in local community organisations such as St Vincent's, Territory Wildlife Park and Crocodylus Park.

 As well as several weeks specific to learning the tricks of the trade with Fire and Emergency Services, which includes completing units toward becoming a NT Emergency Services Volunteer
